Second opinions can be complex. In advance of a report being provided, one of our Consultants must assess your case and create a management plan. This assessment determines whether a virtual consultation is required to complete your report. Your first payment is a fixed fee of £150 to cover the time and administration costs of carrying out this initial assessment. You can read about a typical case below.

Medical Report

£250 – 500

second payment – price depends on individual expert fee

Following your initial assessment you can access your management plan. Your plan will state whether the Consultant can provide a report based on the information you have already provided, or, if there is a requirement for a virtual consultation. At this point you will be asked to make a second payment for the Medical Report. This price is variable, but every Consultant provides a costing on their profile.

Mr Brown, a 23 year old from Manchester fell while on holiday in France. He was skiing at the time, and fell, fracturing his hand. He wanted to know whether he required to have an operation in France, or whether he could wait until he returned home. The cost for this report was an additional £250.

Mr Brown paid a total of £400. This comprised £150 for his initial assessment and £250 for his Second Opinion report.

Mr Brown registered as a user of the eCare Portal which is separate to this website. He uploaded a photo of his scans as part of the info he provided when he registered his case initially.

Our portal has undergone rigorous security checks so that his personal data is stored in compliance with UK regulations. You can read about how we make sure payments are secure on the next tab.

Our Resolve eCare portal uses a third pary payment solution called Stripe to process your payments.
